Grade 5 Recommended Reading List

These books are suggested as appropriate for the interest level at this grade level. To motivate your children to read throughout the summer please consider having a family read-a-loud each day for 15 minutes.  To expose your children to a variety of rich literature let them choose their favorite authors or series book. They may need your assistance reading the higher level books.
